Fast forward: My partner and I both got jobs here and decided to rent a year while we got a feel for the area. Through the rental process, while it was not her job, Jen steered us toward helpful information. Over the next year, we corresponded via text regularly about various listings. A week before our first baby was due to be born (of course!), we found a home we loved; two days before the baby was born, our offer was accepted. Jen helped us to make the process as seamless as possible and showed patience and kindness, knowing it was a delicate and precious time. Even when there were a few seller issues before and after closing, she went to bat for us and did her best to make everything right.
